• Do you edit the photos? Yes, every final image that you receive has been individually retouched by me. This includes any blemishes!
  • Can I bring my girlfriend/boyfriend/parent? Absolutely yes! It is encouraged actually, having a friend helps most people feel more comfortable and natural in front of the camera.
  • Can my girlfriend/boyfriend/parent take photos with me during a one-on-one session? Yes, I am happy to take a few photos of you and your companion together, however it will not turn into a full session, I am happy to shoot you and your friends sessions at the same time but you will each need to pay the full session price!
  • Who picks the location? It's all up to you! If you have a spot in mind, even if its your back yard I will definitely accommodate, if not I will come up with a location for you!
  • How many finished photos do I get? It depends on the session, but expect about 25-30. Please do not ask if you can see all of the photos or if you can have more. There are many outtakes during a session, and I take a lot of time and care to select the photos I think are the best and that I feel you will be most satisfied with. I do not want photos that I feel are "outtakes" out for the world to see with my name on them. So rest assured that the photos you receive are the most amazing of the bunch!
  • How long after the session do I have to wait for my photos? It depends on my workload at the time, in the middle of the summer it will take a bit longer, but during the slow season the turnaround is much quicker. Expect photos within two weeks.
  • What should I wear? Whatever you feel most comfortable in. Ironing and lint rolling your clothes before hand is strongly recommended. Bring at least two outfits, there's no going back if you hate your outfit in the photos and only wore one! If you are in a group try to match the shade of the clothes everyone is wearing, for example don't have some people wear white and some wear black.
  • How do I pay? 50% of the total fee will be due prior to the shoot, it depends when you book and your session type, the rest of the fee is due day of. Cancellation periods vary but try to be courteous if you need to cancel, don't call the day before to cancel, at that point your deposit will not be refundable.
  • What if the weather is bad? If your shoot is outside and it looks like its going to rain all day then we will work out a new date that accommodated both of us! Don't worry if it's just cloudy, cloudy days make for very flattering lighting!
  • What time will the shoot be? Depends on the season, but shooting during the last few hours of daylight is preferred. The lighting is most beautiful late day. I try to avoid times when the sun is at its highest and hottest. This helps us to avoid squinting, sweating and unflattering shadows.
